After we returned from Seoul Tower, we got to enjoy another day with John, Carin, Andrew, and Ashley. It was so fun having him here, though John had to work all night to teach a class online (which would have been at normal hours had he stayed in Florida. They love us. :)) On Monday, we went on post to meet Chris for lunch where we had yummy Korean food at a snack bar for the Katusa soldiers (Korean soldiers who work with the American soldiers.)

That night we went out for Korean bbq. Unfortunately, Chris had to suddenly work late that day, so he couldn't join us.
 |
| You grill all the food at the table, though the waiters were very kind and helped us since we didn't really know what we were doing. We were new at it. |
 |
| We got lots of sides to go with it - some very yummy, some not so much. |
Ashley and Andrew had to go home on Tuesday (yes, they got here late Saturday night, and then had to go back on Tuesday. Crazy.) Ashley is awesome and played with Claire whatever Claire wanted. The most memorable was how they took a taxi (Claire's borrowed cars toddler bed) to a party at Penn State to have Penn State lemonade. Haha! They also dressed up and got Dora tattoos together. So cute. :)

| In the taxi on the way to the party. (I have no idea where she came up with this stuff.) |

| Ashley with a nursing cover and a tutu on her head = mama lion?? |
On Tuesday, we explored Lotte Mart (like an Asian super Walmart and more) and got these for lunch.
 |
| French fry covered corn dogs. Woah. |
We got some different Asian snacks before Ashley and Andrew got on a bus to head back to the airport.
 |
| See that sneaky look in Maddie's eye? That's because she knows she's going to poop on him and this shirt the second before he has to get on a bus before a long journey back to Florida. Good thing Andrew likes her. |
We had another couple of days before John and Carin had to go to the airport. One night we went to a restaurant down in Uijeongbu (about a half and hour train ride away) called Mad for Garlic. John LOVES garlic, so it was a perfect place for him. The food was really good, and they even had garlic ice cream. Our curiosity overrode our sense, and we tried it. Um, NOT recommended. It's not bad when it hits your tongue, but then your just left with this powerful garlic taste. It took me over a whole day to get rid of the garlic flavor in my mouth. Woah.
 |
| Even the decor is made of garlic. |
 |
| Andrew holding Maddie. Look at those blue eyes and that dimple. :) |
John and Cay didn't make their flight on Thursday, so they came back to visit for a few more days - just in time to help me with the girls when my shipment of stuff arrived, so I could unpack. It was a wonderful blessing for me.

 |
| John and Claire took turns reading to each other. |
 |
| What kid doesn't like boxes to play in? |
We even got to go on a double date with them (yea for free babysitting missionaries!) and took them to a cheaper and even tastier Korean bbq buffet place we discovered Thursday night with some of Chris's coworkers. Mmm.

| John and his Chilsung soda (like Sprite.) |
We had such a wonderful time with them while they were here. We felt blessed that they had the opportunity to travel to the other side of the world to come visit us and explore a little of Korea with us. I have the BEST family. <3>3>
